A Near Miss is an unplanned event and potential hazard or incident that did not result in injuy, illness, or property damage, but had the potential to do so. Only a fortunate break in the chain of events prevented an inury, fatality, or damage. It is everyone's responsibility to report and/or correct these ptential accident/incidents immediately.
